Saju S. Eapen, MD
Dr. Eapen is a practicing allergist who has been with our practice since 2001. He is Board Certified in both Allergy and Clinical Immunology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Eapen did his Internal Medicine residency at University of Illinois and completed his fellowship training at University of Wisconsin, where he had the opportunity to train with some of the leading researchers / clinicians in the field of Asthma and Allergy, including Dr. William Busse,Dr. Robert Lemanske, Dr. Robert Bush and Dr. James Gern.
Academically, Dr. Eapen is an assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Virginia and actively participates in teaching medical residents.
Dr. Eapen has published both textbook chapters and articles in peer-reviewed journals. His special areas of interest include allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis (eczema) and food allergy. Dr. Eapen is a member of various national and state medical organizations.
He and his wife are active members of their community and their church. They enjoy spending time with their two children.
