Laura L. Dziadzio, MD
Dr. Dziadzio is originally from the Detroit area and is board certified in both Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology. She attended the University of Michigan for both her undergraduate and medical degrees. She completed her training in both pediatrics and allergy/immunology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she met Dr. Eapen when he was a fellow and she a pediatric resident. Her research in fellowship involved the study of neutrophil (a type of white blood cell) involvement in some types of asthma.
After fellowship, Dr. Dziadzio remained in Wisconsin practicing allergy and immunology until 2009 when she relocated to Virginia and practiced in Roanoke. She joined the Asthma and Allergy Center Lynchburg office in 2020. She is particularly interested in the care of patients with food
allergy, atopic dermatitis (eczema), eosinophilic esophagitis, asthma allergic rhinoconjunctivitis and stinging insect allergy.
Dr. Dziadzio lives in Botetourt County with her husband. They have two teenaged sons. She enjoys running and the study of history with interests in British history and World War I.
